Suvendu Ghatak

Dr Suvendu Ghatak has recently finished his PhD at the University of Florida, exploring the conjunctures of medical and cultural narratives of malaria in South Asian literature and culture. He has received fellowships from the Consortium for the History of Science, Technology and Medicine, and American Institute of India Studies. He has published or has forthcoming works in Volupté, Synapsis, Journal of the History of Medicine and Allied Sciences, Nineteenth Century Gender Studies, and Global Nineteenth-Century Studies. He is interested at the intersections of the race, medicine, and horror.
