Journal Special Issue
Gothic in Asian Animation and Sequential Art
Article proposals are invited for a special journal issue of Gothic Studies (expected publication date November 2026) on “Gothic in Asian Animation and Sequential Art” edited by Katarzyna Ancuta (Chulalongkorn University) and Joseph Crawford (University of Exeter).
Please send abstracts of 300 words to the journal editors at kancuta@gmail.com and J.Crawford@exeter.ac.uk by 31 August 2024. We will notify the authors about the results in early September.
Edited Collections
Poetry and the Gothic
Article proposals are welcome for an upcoming collection on Poetry and the Gothic, edited by Li-hsin Hsu, Samantha Landau and Thomas Leonard Shaw. We invite 300 word abstracts on topics related to the Gothic and poetry, broadly considered, for an edited collection to be submitted to an academic publisher. With your abstract, please include a brief 100 word bio. Abstract submission deadline: May 15th, 2024.
